Aeroflot flight to Guangzhou

"But how much have we slept?" My clock shows 6'45 but last night I fell round not too late. The stress and emotions of recent months have led me to have a season with a feeling quite exhausted.

Yesterday I did not get the boarding passes online, since the second part of the journey today will be with China Southern Arilines and the Aeroflot website it sends you to the airport check-in, which has made us approach today to avoid problems earlier, around 8'00. Before us we have said goodbye to grandma Vale and her little house. There he will wait for us until our return.

The taxi (27.20 euros) leaves us in Terminal 1, which is still as usual although quite old and deteriorated, and at this time full of people who have spent the night waiting for their morning flight. After check-in, pass the baggage and passport checks, and have breakfast (approx 22 euros), it didn't take long to start boarding ...

He Aeroflot flight takes off with just 10 minutes late. The Airbus 320 that takes us is still a plane with some antiquity, 3 + 3 seats, without any screen and with some ... "Russian" hostesses.

And, although we have not yet stepped on the Russian country, its people are more "dry than the mojama" that the grandmother would say, and for unpleasant moments, not only for the hostesses who only show it on their face, but for details Like the Russian who screwed up in Miriam for taking some gum from his backpack by moving his bag. It will be our turn on future trips to get to know them better ... right Paula?

But, the joy of the day has been in the boarding line, where we have met two people who were very excited to see again ... It is about Yadnakis and Carmen, two of those travelers who really enjoy every moment that life has in store for them, and with whom we agree that day 13 in Petra at trip to Syria 2009.

Carmen is full of enthusiasm. He is a cheerful, friendly person and you can tell that these moments of waiting before a trip (and more so amazing than they are undertaking) is full of illusions. Yadnakis is a calm person and looks very noble. He has not stopped traveling since 2010, 9 months through Asia, then the Philippines and Palau, now China, Nepal, Tibet, where in each of them, Carmen has joined as soon as she could. They are a couple of those who just see them think "they are made for each other". !! Great !!

In full flight, we chat again with them who have approached our seats. How can it be otherwise, we review the thousand and one trips we have made, we talk about experiences, moments, that camera in the middle of the sea (hehe) and future desires.

The 5 flight hours they have been "flying" (never better), with a snack, a small meal, a blanket (no headphones, no pillow, nothing at all) and far from the comforts that a Qatar Airways or Emirates have given us. We are already landing in the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, where the first thing we will do is try to get the remaining boarding passes with CSA, since although the bags go directly to Guangzhou, they have not been able to give them to us in Madrid.

After passing the corresponding passport and luggage controls, and walking to Terminal F (next door, you arrive at nothing), at Desk Transfer F we are informed that our flight is somewhat delayed. Has anyone brought letters? Snif A beer and a mini-dinner (33 €)?

The China Southern Airlines is the largest airline in China and owns a modern fleet of Boeing and Airbus. It is also part of the Skyteam alliance and that is why we have bought the flight with Aeroflot but it is operated by CSA, which has its base of operations in the modern Baiyun Airport in Guangzhou, where we are heading.

UPGRADE: Finally we left at 00:50, almost 3 hours late ... !! and from russians to the hat !! (what reason was Blai, haha)

At the time of publishing this story we will be flying over Russian sky, road border with China. Yadnakis and Carmen will also be doing it via Beijing. A very strong hug, colleagues, have a great time in your new adventure (that everyone can follow in the future stories of his blog "The best is yet to come"). Our technical stop will be in Urumqi. Urumqi? This story is almost better explained tomorrow. Now to sleep. Paula, the Russian sky has a beautiful moon ... I have left a message for you.
